I will admit, I’ve had my Easter centerpiece up since the holiday, and I was wayyy overdue for switching it out for a bright, summery replacement. With one trip to Hobby Lobby, the best store of all time, I was able to find all the pieces I needed for this new Simple Farmhouse Centerpiece.
Mostly everything in this centerpiece was bought in a single trip to the store today, so it would not be hard to recreate this exact thing. The galvanized milk jug, round woven tray, hand towel, glass bottle (similar item) and flowers should all be available in your store or online if you get there now!
On top of a simple burlap runner, I threw down the round wicker basket with a striped vintage linen on top. Then I found this amazing galvanized, hammered milk jug that was the perfect size. Also, Hobby Lobby had 50% off their glass decor, so I grabbed that small sea glass jug as well. Threw in some fake flowers and some dishes that I already had, and that’s it!
Overall, the centerpiece is simple, but it has the exact look I was going for. I’ve wanted a round basket to do this look for so long, and I’m super glad I finally found one I liked.
Because of the scale of the items, the simplicity isn’t underwhelming. It’s a pretty substantial arrangement and it adds such a pretty pop of color. I think this has made me realize how much I love yellow for spring and summer. I even got a matching yellow wreath to go on my kitchen door!
Do you have a favorite color or look for the spring and summer seasons? If you couldn’t tell, I’m deep into the farmhouse trend right now, and I’m soooo lovin it.
