Memorial Day has come and gone, but the Fourth of July is just around the corner! This time of the year is definitely one of my favorite times to decorate. Something about red, white and blue just makes me happy. I get all these bbq-party, lemonade-drinking, sitting-on-the-front-porch vibes.. To go along with this season, I made this Simple Patriotic Centerpiece that fits right in!This article may contain affiliate links. For more information, visit my disclosure page.
For whatever reason I always struggle with deciding on a centerpiece for the holidays. But, after a while I finally found the answer for this season… Flags! They’re just too easy. No difficult floral arrangements, no crazy expensive projects or impossible expectations… Just a simple look with no fuss. Plus, you still get a little bit of that farmhouse touch by using a white pitcher, which obviously, I love.
Luckily, I already had this pitcher, greenery and the flags. So this project was 100% free! You can tell that I just left the same basket tray and a similar hand towel that was used in my simple farmhouse centerpiece I made earlier this year.
You can also see the shiplap plate chargers I made! So glad I made these… they’ve looked so good in every tablescape I’ve done so far!
The pitcher is a lightweight plastic, so if I were to move this outside, I’d want it to be a little more sturdy. So I could use a floral foam block or some small rocks in the bottom of the pitcher to secure everything and weigh it down a bit. But, nah. This is just going to be sitting on my dining room table, so no wind to worry about.
